    Vista permissions are gonna drive me fucking insane!!!!

    Trying to get some software to work, and that shit refuses to run. says my permissions are wrong. Tried everything under the sun I can think of. The only way I can get this shit to run is to run in SafeMode, and no i do not want to reboot in safemode everytime I want to run the program.

    FUCK YOU WINDOWS VISTA. I WILL HATE YOU FOREVER....

    Anybody ever had Vista pull this shit where it refuses to let you modify the permissions? Even running as admin it's a useless effort. Shit is fucked...

      nothing has really changed in Vista as far as Windows permissions go, take a screen shot of what you are trying to do or something

          AAHHH well I had this problem b4... to solve it I had to open the task manager then terminate explorer.exe (your start bar will dissapear) .... don't close the task manager or u'll hafta restart.. then click on File> Run .. and type explorer.... it all comes back and hopefully you will be able to change ur permissions or do whatever u gotta do.....

          .. just a thought ... hope it helps...

              what exactly is there to screenshoot? right click any executable it pretty much looks exactly the same when you go to change the permissions. except in this case, it's just being a cunt and doesn't seem to want to apply my changes.
