    I hate moving omg!

Ok just moved to nice new house, but God I hate moving. Comcast was scheduled using their online system to come do my install on March 2nd, and when I didn't hear from them the end of feb or March 1st I called to make sure they had the appt. Apparently it didn't take and without an act of congress I can't get them here any sooner than monday. So online barely via some wifi signal who knows how far away at 20% signal strength. Anyone needing to reach me etc. please email me as I am finally done at old place today all cleaned out done completely and am working on setting my office back up here, house all setup etc etc.

We should be 100% by Monday with the move, and all set back up, and be able to get on with biz again. Its been a rough week, started the move on Sunday and took 2 days with the truck. Calgon take me away. At least have a big ass hot tub on the back deck to soak in here.. very shortly lol. Had to do all the treatments to it etc, as it hasn't been used since fall, they only did the min required for its upkeep. Crazy week. ugg.

ya, moving fucking sucks.. Sine July 2008 I moved twice. The first time I ended up with no internet, phone and tv for 3 weeks after I was moved in so the 2nd time I moved I booked the installation a month and a half before I moved and made sure to call them every week to make sure that I was still good for the date they set. That made it so the day I was moving in the cable guy was here installing all of my shit. Zero wait time the 2nd time around.

I have done the online scheduling before and had the same problem.

        Jealous about the hot tub.

Moving is exciting though. But it is frustrating being in limbo when you do need something you are used to.

I can't wait to move again. Try doing it over 2,000 miles with everything you own in tow. Twice. It is a great feeling, being on the road. I am reminiscing too much in a single post.

Lease was up, and we were just in an Apt for a year till we decided on what area we wanted to be in. Hate noisy neighbors and being that close to other people. Was 2 bedroom townhouse, moved to 3 bedroom 2200sqft house with 2 car garage and hot tub and enclosed rear deck just way nicer neighbor hood. Yard for the doggies etc.

So many services online suck ass so bad.

Like my utility companies, pushing the shit on you. "Sign up for online billing"

I went to pay my water bill one day, and was at the place waiting in line while a guy fought with a clerk about his water being shut off because the online billing was not working right. She was being a total cunt, and you could tell the guy was frustrated as hell. So, no online billing for me, from some incompetent fuckers.

The two times I've moved it took me two days, if not less. I did it by recruiting my family (including the kids) and couple of those guys you see outside Home Depot.

We did something similar moving in 06.

Congrats, because being away from other fuckers who live next door to you is the best feeling in the world. We lived in a place where the building mail box was right outside, and it was fucking hell.

I soooo hate living around other people, I want to live down a long dirt road someday.

Only screw up on my part was I forgot to transfer the water into my name, and think that was on Monday, so Monday night had to go back to the old place to shower and stuff, but they were out like 9am next morning turning it on. Everything else I made sure I had handled. Ended up 2 days with the truck thought I could do it in one lol. Got living room dining room and master bedroom mostly setup, our office not setup yet. Laptop set on a folding table for the moment. Had to finish up at the old place with all the cleaning, and hauling off trash and stuff we didn't really need this morning. Hell of a work out this week anyways lol. Thats somthin lol. Down 27lbs since Nov and working out plus weight loss, plus all this, and the abs are starting to pop nice and solid now lol.

Thats what puts me off buying a new house. I quite fancy buying a bigger house but moving and arranging all that bullshit puts me off. I hate hassle so I can imagine I would hate moving.

They are, just not in a situation to commit to longer than a 1 year lease atm. Love where we are, and might have option to buy this house at the end of the lease. Keep thinking Costa Rica in the back of our heads.

Thats pretty much it too. Last time I moved I was so tense that I freaked on one of the moving guys for dropping one end of my sofa into the back of the truck instead of setting it down. It was no big deal, no damage, but I went off. After that one, I may never move again.

Im very happy I have 20% to 40% signal from someone else right now. lol The ridiculous part is I really don't need anyone to come out. Just switch over to my name, and turn it on. Basic cable is on. Im like "just let me come pick up my new modem, I plug it in, and you turn on my online service, and you can come out later to do whatever it is you think you need to do". lol Nope can't do it that way GRR!! I need to rest but am too wired. lol
