You do realize that before 1948, there was a mix population there of Jews and Arabs and they were all called Palestinians. There wasn't a real country called Palestine. The area was called that since the Roman empire conquer it from the Jews and named it after the philistines.Comment

About the topic: Everyone knows Israel and the US are each others most loyal allies, that's why Israel still exists amidst muslims who all hate them. The US has been arming them as long as i can remember. The fights over land in that region are never-ending. Trump wants to comply to the Israelis plan to move the embassy. Well good luck with that. I am against meddling in the middle east, I was very much against the airstrike in Syria after "rebels" released that gas and blamed Assad (who was winning and wouldn't be that fucking stupid). It was funny though that the mainstream media stopped Trump bashing for 2 weeks when he did that. One of the few war mongering establishment orders he obeyed, and the establishment controlled mainstream media was all for it. Tolerant, progressive CNN that loves bombings and wars.
