I have a lot of faith they did the comic justice, a lot of the visuals come straight of the pages of the series. Hopefully they follow thru. if they can pull it off it's going to be amazing. There is going to be a screening here in L.A. today @ 7pm. I might try to get in on it...Comment

it showed up on the cartoon network so i downloaded it
i am so stoked for this movie i will go to see it on opening night.
both because i am a fan and because i own the domain name malin domain that is directing to mr skin

It is showing just up the street from me tonight and I will NOT be going to see that movie. Not even on a press junket for free with free food and drinks would I see that rape of the best comic book ever created.
If Alan Moore feels strongly enough against the project that he turned down all the money his creator contract would normally give him in this instance, then that is reason enough not to see it.
I'll grant that 300 was pretty, but I fell asleep while watching it. Twice.
Fuck the Watchman movie.

Well I watched the movie tonight and I would like to go on the record to say I doubt America will like it. It's a thinking movie and we all know how well we are at that.
There was a special early showing for the wounded soldiers tonight and I liked it. I will not spoil it but I will give you all a good bit of advice, this is NOT a kids movie so heed the rated R. Soldiers here were given free tickets to bring their families so when their 8 year olds saw the 3 min long love scene that was as graphic as the pages it was based on or the Glowing Cock on the main character's naked body that was bouncing around the entire movie they probably second guess that decision.
All in all a very good movie if you let yourself listen to the message of the story.-Robbie

I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that the guy playing Rorshach is "Kelly Leak" from "The Bad News Bears".
