I think the stimulus package is a joke and will only make things worse. However, I can only assume that there's a reason they haven't done a lot of those other things.
For better or worse, he has made it quite clear that he's checking with financial experts, his party, his team... even with the republicans!

I am fairly certain that you understand the financial world better than I do (from what I've read of yours) but even you can't have all of the info that he must be given at this point.

I don't trust the man as far as I can throw him but at the same time, at least for me, he hasn't given me all that much reason to not trust him. Certainly not in the way the last president did.

I guess what I'm saying is, for me, I don't see a good way out of this mess. But he's trying to keep people positive. Trying to encourage people to move forward. It's mostly useless but when you've got nothing else... I just don't think it's worth all the hatred. Do I think he'll "save us all", no. Do I think we should hate him for trying? no.
