i don't think vbulletin has that many plugins to make it suitable to match the functionality of a "dating site".. it might exist, but just doubtful.

do a search for "vbulletin plugins" and see what comes up.

there are a few free alternatives if you search on googly.

I would like to know how you do it what techniques etc as I had a niche dating idea and slapped banner son site and all the big date affiliates and adult toys for two years and got backlinks from big sites like Gothdate and did not make a single freaking penny and had 18 members after all that Time so what the F am I doing wrong????

This is a great article. I'm about to launch my first dating site (completely custom code). I'm starting to wonder what to do about the initial database when I launch. I was hoping this article would've touched on buying dating profiles. I was offered a few thousands "active" profiles from some website, but i don't know just how "active" those members are.

I don't want to start the site with fake profiles. I wouldn't mind paying for real profiles, but how do I know these profiles are real, and, more importantly, active?

It's been such a pain to get any help with dating sites. No one wants to even send sale you traffic or ads. I guess people like it's plaid out but there is money to be made and new technologies to come.

There should be more service to help new dating sites.
