      The issue with "trying" is that it gives you a mental "out."

                                              one of my favourite quotes/mantras is from Yoda: do or do not [there is no try]

                                              ofc, you then have the things that you *do* have to try before deciding whether you will do them or not, but once I've actually made the decision, the 'do or do not' mindset kicks in with full effect.
