Mass Xhamster comments?

    Mass Xhamster comments?

    I'm used to seeing the spam comments at Xhamster on vids we upload which contain spam twitter/Skype accounts and other URLS from obvious bots (plus pornunlock which always seems to get through which could easily get blocked by xhamster, or are they working together somehow ).

    However, the last couple of days have been crazy with mass spam comments but have no links back nor any links/url shown on their profile - No avatars of 'hot chicks' either.
    I can't work out this mass spamming? Why would anyone do that to get nothing back - unless I'm missing something here?

    Example: User/bot signed up under 1 hour ago and has left almost 20k comments in that time before getting banned/retired.
    There seems to many of these bots doing the same in the last few days.

      I have an XHamster account. I always enjoy sharing the content that I shoot, and I really do enjoy the website, but you're right ...the spam messages are out of control. They should go though and clean out some of the fake user accounts, which would make for a better and more user friendly experience for the legitimate users with real profiles.

      But yeah man, it would be better if there were not so many spam messages and bots. I usually just report them and block the user.

      What do they get out of it? I have absolutely no idea whatsoever.

          Yea, I've seen a lot of those weird 'mmm nice' comments recently.

          Slightly off subject, but am I the only one who prefers their 'old' interface over the beta one? Reporting and deleting comments is so much easier in it.

              I prefer the old layout too. Much nicer.

              I actually suggested them to use captcha or to block these spamming cunts by IP.. even emailed them. Wonder if they reply. It's extremely annoying.

                  Female profile though? Maybe looking to spam through pm after a friend request is sent.

                  Maybe reaching out to a user base wise to the girls with the "hot chick avatars". By not having an image, a horny xhamster user may think she is some real chick that really likes porn. Making him more eager to see a pic of her.

                  Or a profile pic may be added later.

                      Excessive spamming demonizes legitimate (Gentile) sellers by association. Google has pretty much already written the handbook on this. Their "Gentile porn seller = spammer" schtick still hasn't been called out

                                  21,250 comments in 28 mins of joining, then they seem to 'retire' themselves rather than being banned. Weird.

                                      I think 'retire' is what XHamster will show for banned accounts (along with those who actually do quit the site on their own).

                                          I have been deleting these spammy comments over and over until I noticed a real account posting this exact same crap. Seems it is this whore or someone who runs her site:

                                          They must be using some automated tool for this.

                                          How did I find out? She used her own account to spam the exact same comments. Also, the country is the same, each of those accounts has Germany set. Check out the screenshots:







                                          I reported it to Xhamster but doubt they are gonna do anything. Meanwhile, more shit comments were added to our pages.

                                          The reason they spam is propably to direct more visitors to her official profile through these fake accounts and friendships. But it still looks strange.

                                                  Wow, that's insane. Why won't they implement basic rate limiting? Make it so that a comment submission within a few seconds of the page load is rejected. It won't stop automated tools but at least the level of spam (max of about 300/day/account) is more manageable.

                                                                                  Oh that sucks man!! I get spam comments too (with links etc) and delete them but it's not that many. Sorry to hear this is happening!
