Boston is experiencing record-breaking cold temperatures

Boston broke a 116-year-old record Saturday morning when the temperature dropped to 23 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

The previous record low for November 11 was set at 24 degrees in 1901.

Last week it was 78; this weekend, 33. I?m close to the ocean so get sea wind. But, last winter was mild so we can?t complain much.

I hated living on the Hill when it was cold. Or driving over the bridge during wind. And, I hated seeing homeless sleeping on the sidewalks in the winter.

Five months until Spring!

record freeze does not deny global warming. Global warming is about average temperatures. And no, it does not mean that year by year average must be warmer.

Ps: I am neither pro nor anti global warming as I definitely have no skills/knowledge to have a say, I just claim that "denying" it by some record freeze is not the correct way to deny it.

I remember lots of cold weather here. Below zero in 1978, 36” of snow. We’ve had 60-degree days in December. One Turkey Day football game I wore shorts. No one said the world was changing or the weather was due to global changes. Shit happens.

Because what you seem to have over looked is what scientist and weather experts have predicted for years..

Global warming causes eratic weather patterns some places it might be very hot, others very cold then still yet some places might be mild.. The trends however are the extremes get worse. .

Meanwhile the global temp keeps warming.
