I don't see how having sex on film makes her any less capable of being a parent than what she has already proven. There are several "porn girls" right on this board that have children. Granted, I don't know them or what kind of parents they really are, but I really have no reason to think they are bad parents for the sole reason that they have sex on camera.

Frankly I think she is mentally unstable and should probably be checked out... that may be grounds enough for the children to be taken away. Not sure... I don't like the idea of taking children away from people because they don't meet "societies standards", but at the same time I think that she should receive some sort of punishment if she intends to collect social benefits to help raise these children.

An ethics issue? For a legitimate company to make a legitimate offer in their own industry? Whats the difference between this and Oprah having Octo-grandpa on her show? Or if Pampers were to offere her free pampers? None.

First off, of course 1 million isnt going to guarantee the kids a good life, but it sure is better than nothing now isnt it? Second, they offered her health benefits if she wanted to be a contract star as well. Try reading the actual press release before you give us all the sermon. Third, this is a legitimate offer. It's not like they are offering The Pope $1 million to star in a gay gangbang. This is a woman who is in need of money, housing and benefits and up to this point has made no reference to being morally against porn. So why you think this is a PR stunt is beyond me. Its a great move on Vivid's part. 2 things can happen. She accepts the offer and they make a mint or she turns it down and they get a free weeks worth of publicity on main stream channels they normally wouldn't have access to.

Lastly, the amount of industry self hatred is what is hurting this business more than anything. And its very self evident in this thread. WE ARE IN THE PEOPLE HAVING SEX ON CAMERA FOR $$ BUSINESS FOR CHRISTS SAKE. Here we have a respected company within the industry making a legitimate offer for a woman to star in one of their projects and pay 1 million dollars and they are being "predatory" and "taking advantage" and "dipshits". Since when is a company offering $1 MILLION FUCKING DOLLARS being a predator. She accepts it or she doesnt. But all of a sudden out of the wood work, on an industry board no less, a group of holier than thous say its being a predator because this poor bat shit woman doesnt know right from wrong and is broke and needs the money. Well NEWS FLASH!!! Most girls that do porn are in it for the money, fame and to get out of their otherwise boring, broke or crappy lives. Just because this woman is infamous doesnt make it any different than one of the other thousand models you probably promote daily.

And as for public perception I would garner a guess that the majority of the population when given a choice of paying for this woman's kids through tax dollars or having her earn it by taking dick would choose the latter. I doubt she would be getting death threats if she showed some T&A every month and moved into a middle class suburb, hired a couple nannies and started to raise her family. Nobody gives a shit about Mormon/Catholic families with 18 kids or Jon and Kate plus 8 because they dont have to foot the bill.

I am no way implying this would make her a better parent, what I am saying that I as a tax payer am tired of forking over the bill for people who CAN earn but choose not to.

i think everyone in porn is fucked in the head. sadly, that goes for myself and you (more you than me! ;) ... particularly for female models. this entire industry is a magnet for dysfunctional people and think people like you and i are of the few that can understand and accept that and feel no need to rationalize absurd, self destructive behavior.

however, what disappointments me in this situation is the fact that people can't pull their head out of their asses and think about the kids, their well being and so on first.

i would say there is a difference. this woman is insane. she has 14 lives she is destroying. not one mom and a kid... but a nutjob, single, no hope of ever getting married or having any sort of stable relationship and providing a decent home for her children where she can actually parent them... and is saddled with the impossible task of trying to raise them into healthy, responsible adults.

this being said.. we all know the story. this is not one woman and a kid who may or may not be a good mom. this is not one whacked out nutjob with a kid. this is a nutjob with 14 kids of similar age which are going to be totally impossible to parent and are already going to be fucked up... willfully adding to that burden and trauma or trying to exploit it is pathetic.
