well if that is true, fair enough.... but a professional biz mentality on the boards would be pulling alot more clients.... example is alienq he also gets alot of publicity but it seems that it doesnt help him much....

It doesn't make sense, in my opinion. You are not broadening your base of customers that way, and relying heavily on a few select customers. Especially with the trend of people going online to make money, you'll be missing out on a lot of new webmasters that will eventually turn into those $1K spenders and beyond.

You will also be limiting your word-of-mouth business; the best advertisement is from a happy customer that tells their friends about you, so instead of having 10 happy webmasters telling their webmaster friends about your services, you only have 1 doing that.
