Haven't seen this phone yet but will be checking it out when I go to buy a new phone on Tuesday. I however have played around with the iphone and can't stand it as I do a lot of text messaging and find it difficult when having long nails.
So if anyone has suggestions on new phones that aren't touch screens please post details now. LOLComment

I have one and definitely not a fan. They are the SLOWEST piece of shit of a phone.
Texting is a nightmare with the stupid keyboard, screen locks on the clock sometimes, takes seemingly forever for the screen to flip to be the right way up. I hate it and would recommend everyone against getting one

ill stick with my bold. my friend bought one based off the hype after i told him it was a piece of shit phone. he still puts on a front like he likes it...i can tell that it pains him to use it. we've both had one blackberry or another since the 7510 through Nextel. theres no way he doesn't miss the qwerty keyboard.★★★

You can use it in qwerty mode with one click.
It does sometimes get stuck in "landscape" mode when you are in "portrait" position for a second. I've never had any other blackberry, so I don't have any comparison to make with it. The last time I had a pda styled phone was back in 2002 when I bought a big ass palm powered phone and returned it after a couple of days. Since then I just used "normal" phones (razor and more recently the Casio military spec water resistant phone)...so being a virgin to these types of phones...I like mine. Maybe I just don't know what I'm missing on the others or something.

I have had an HTC 6700, Voyager, Curve and Storm and the storm is the best phone I have ever owned and yeah I looked at the iphone and hated the screen with no response its easy to type the screen clicks but now how you think you can type very fast. as for the problems people are complaining about they are all valid and easily fixed like every high tech gadget you have to tweak it to work for you first thing is to upgrade the OS to .75 or higher then delete all the crap your are not gonna use and your storm will work greatSell a man a fish, he eats for a day, teach a man how to fish, you ruin a wonderful business opportunity. -Karl MarxComment

i have the storm as well. its nice but can be a pain in the ass when it starts to lock up, once, twice three times a day....other than that its an awesome phone, although i cant wait for the htc touch pro 2..(coming to "ALL" countries soon)

Storm is horrible. Don't buy it.
My 8830 broke (usb port.. bleh) so I figured I'd "upgrade". horrible.
Buggy, randomly slow, annoying typing.
I also hate the iPhone, so I don't really know what I was thinking
As soon as the Verizon version of the Bold drops I'm buying it, supposedly around June. I just couldn't quite justify buying another 8830 for 3-4 months use..Comment

The Storm is a love it or hate it device. It definitely takes people a few days/weeks to get used to it. The launch OS had problems and the official Voda/verizon .75 OS still has problems. People running the leaked beta and hybrid OS's(.109) say it is like a completely new phone.
One thing I've noticed is that a lot of people who complain or call it crappy don't actually know how to use it; anything from not closing apps, settings, select text, etc.. People really should read those instruction manuals companies supply with their products.
Plenty of good reviews starting to pop up for the Storm.
All sorts of info on the crackberry forum to help you get it running the way you want and with the apps you want.

I'll stick with my Bold till the Storm with a keyboard comes out... I'm not a fan of the touch screens on any phone.
