Tailgating is one thing that literally makes my blood boil, it's not just a split second mistake or a near miss by someone else, it's a sustained accident waiting to happen

Even more scary when it's a 50 ton truck that's a car length behind you.

I hate that too. It's always the heaviest vehicles, or junkers, with the worst stopping power that tailgate. You would figure that simple logic and a little bit of foresight would tell some one not to follow too close.

I've had a bunch of truckers do that to me lately. I like to lay on the breaks hard for a second or so then punch the gas again when they are that close. Fffin hate tailgaters. But I hate people that hog the left lane and won't let anyone pass too.

Tailgating is a national past time here in Spain and it's always some dickhead in a BMW, Audi, or some kid in a riced out shitbox. Fuck them.

One time I had a tailergater riding my ass at night, so I pulled my emergency brake briefly to scare the crap out of them (the parking brake light doesn't like when I did that). Unfortunately I found out it was a fucking COP tailgating me. The asshole didn't have his lights on. He wasn't trying to pass me (I was in the right lane of a 4-lane highway). He was on his way and was too much of a dumb son of a bitch to just pass me. When he pulled me over I couldn't believe how fucking stupid he was. Lucky for me someone on his radio was bitching about how he hadn't shown up yet, so he had to let me go. Haha. Fucker.

God I hate when cops tailgate you!! They rush up on your bumper then stay there till they have scared you for a few miles then pass you. Some might say he is just running your plates but if the fucker has to get that close to do that then get him some fucking glasses

Whenever some asshole is tailgating me, I continue to slow down until they get so pissed to the point where they NEED to pass me. Keep in mind that I am definately NOT a slow driver but some people will tailgate no matter how fast you are going. I once had an asshole tailgate me while I was driving 95 mph.

I remember one time, this asshole was tailgating me so close, I slowed down but he still never passsed....so I kept slowing down until I was STOPPED in the middle of the fucking road. That motherfucker was PISSED!
