                                                                                              I did empty my stocks and I did get a house, and I am semi retired. I have had a couple people from the industry here, what I said is all true.

My wife and I both have ailments that are incurable (which we've only been diagnosed of last month), my son's been through surgery and has a disability. We've had our share of hard knocks and then some but I didn't make a Christmas meltdown thread. And yes, I've had to bury quite a few relatives. One recently.

I don't really know how else I could ask it, but let me try one more time. Forget the house, forget semi retirement, forget everything you did with your money in 10/06. In 07/06 you claimed you were literally starving, couldn't pay rent and couldn't pay your utilities and a multitude of other things. At that point, wouldn't any sane individual sell some stocks (regardless of tax ramifications), just so that he could have enough to eat and pay rent?

I don't really know how else I could ask it, but let me try one more time. Forget the house, forget semi retirement, forget everything you did with your money in 10/06. In 07/06 you claimed you were literally starving, couldn't pay rent and couldn't pay your utilities and a multitude of other things. At that point, wouldn't any sane individual sell some stocks (regardless of tax ramifications), just so that he could have enough to eat and pay rent?

I saw more value in getting a house and shutting down LA. Answer is no I am not going to pull money for food and rent when I was at the cusp of getting a fucking house.

                                                                                                                                                                  So looking for work on GFY to make ends meet while trying desperatly to stave off paying for rent and bills in a situation was the no different than throwing hard earned money in the fire.

It certainly would not make financial sense to break out money that's sole purpose was to see to it that I at least get a home.

You could have simply sold a couple of your google shares to cover rent and food and it wouldn't have affected you getting your house.
