    I am contemplating taking in an apprentice.

    I have reached a level were doing everything myself is a drag to the company. I understand how to hire out on certain projects but that has a very big downside.
    I am looking for an open minded hard worker who is fantastic at time management.

    If you know basic html, how to build and fill in affiliate promo material, blog, use twitter, and basic video editing - along with a broad band connection. All are major pluses.

    Biggest requirement is that you must be fluent in English, and have either icq, msn, aim, of gtalk.

                                  Sounds like you are at the same place I am. I am handling it through working partnerships on different pieces of what I am working on for now, and also the next 6-18 months. It's hard to find good help here locally. Jim Gunn has gotten lucky. I thought about the apprentice thing myself, but opted to consider other routes.

                                                                              I've thought about doing the same thing many times, but knowing myself, I know I'd be frustrated when they weren't as motivated or intelligent as I'd want them to be --- plus training someone to understand the smoking fetish takes forever (it took two years for my outsourced employee to really "get it" in terms of exactly what I need) - and finding an apprentice who has the smoking fetish plus everything else that would be required would be like hitting the lottery (and I'd rather hit the lottery )

Apprenticeship/mentorship arrangements can be a Win Win. Totally depends on the commitment of both parties.
