Let's go back to the start. Merkel did say there would be "no limits" to the people she would allow into Germany. You can argue about how many would stay there, breed there, work there, leave after a while, commit crime, rape, be forced to leave, whatever. She seemed to think she could dictate which other countries in Europe she would spread the sheer volume of numbers arriving to Germany. Didn't take her long to realise the numbers were much more than she figured plus most weren't actually refugee's at all and quickly claimed the border CLOSED.

Fact is she made the most riduculous statement and call in recent times. And yet she still holds power and is about to do so further.
