i have nano and vi currently open in two different terminals, never was much of a pine / pico fan for some reasons, vi / vim is the only way to go if it's properly configured but nano works in a pinch on most servers when their vi / vim install is shit.Comment

I still use pine. Saves me lots of time when out of office.

Pico is easy for me and love it when I ssh in.
Gopher - wow, haven't seen that term in along time. Before the first browser came out we used to gopher adult stuff, etc

I still use pine now and then!! Simple, fast, no annoying graphics. It does what it says on the tin.
edit, and pico too, cos they are all the same commands
