Germany's second main party is a clone of the Merkel's party. The problem is that while most of the EU is doing badly Germany is doing well, not much of a United Europe there. When Germans are landed with the bills for the migrants and the failing EU States, the tables will turn.
Should the EU give the UK a bad deal, it will hit German manufacturing like a brick.
