I've noticed that most of the top porn forums are basically just link dumps for content hosted on paid file hosts. Most of the content appears to be posted by a small group of frequent posters. Does anyone know how this business model works? Are they being paid to post? I'd like to find a few posters for some of my forums and I am wondering where I might find such a service. I am hoping to find people who post legit content, not just stuff ripped from other sites.

The business model is something like "they get paid per 1000 downloads".
It's usually not a very high amount, it's like $1 or $2 per 1000 downloads and the download site make it back by advertising and premium memberships.
I have banned it on my forum, most of those forum links will be automatically deleted by the forum system. It does not add anything and I do not want to link to those - often - site or scene rips.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I miss the god 'ol days when all of the forums accepted gallery links. The vast majority of the porn forums nowadays fucking suck and they are nothing but a complete waste of time.
There's still a few out there that are good. Just have to search for them.Comment

They are "pirates" and they make money out of ripping off someone elses content. They get paid if someone downloads their uploaded files and if someone buys a premium account on the file locker site.Comment
