    R.I.P. Nikki Licks

    I was really looking forward to spending time with Nikki and his Wife in Arizona next month after not seeing them for a few years. Today Mike died from a motorcycle accident.

    I really don't know what else to say other than he was a good friend to have and I will miss him for sure.

    Thought those of you who knew him might want to know.

                          He used to ride a lot before you and I met him. He got back into it a few years ago.

                                              I recall him having a lot of wild stories of his past. I suggested he write about them in a book years ago. I really hope he got around to getting some of those on paper. Quite an interesting life even from the snippets I heard him talk about on the boards anyway.

                                              Always hate to hear about people going down on motorcycles. Most will never understand why we do it knowing what could happen out there.

                                                          Yes he did. It was the dream of him and his Wife to hit the road and live out of it. They've committed to leaving their home this November. Now his Wife wants to sell the bus and has to find a new place to live.

                                                                  I'm not sure if he ever wrote them down but you're right, he had some great stories and one hell of a life.

                                                                  I spoke with his Wife a couple hours ago and got a few more details.

                                                                  A car pulled out in front of him and he laid his bike down to avoid hitting the car. He separated from the bike and slid down the road breaking multiple bones throughout his body and cracking his skull. No helmet. The impact put him into a coma. They say he didn't feel any pain.

                                                                  The last scan they did showed too much bleeding and damage to his brain. He was removed from life support and the rest is obvious.

                                                                  He didn't want a funeral. He will be cremated and have his ashes spread primarily around his mining claim.

                                                                  I've met a lot of people through the Adult Industry but very few who became the kind of friends he and his Wife have become with me and mine. Feels like I've lost a brother.
