Drinking a case a day, for one week.

Is it possible? A case of regular beer(Miller High Life) a day for 7 days straight.
Essentially this is the same as drinking one half barrel in a week's time.
It's a bet that I want to try to pull off. So far everyone thinks it isn't possible.
What are your thoughts?

When I was a kid there was a family that lived across the street from us. The husband had back problems and was on disability and all he did was sit around a drink. He drank a case or more of beer almost every day. They would go to the store and buy 7-9 cases a week and he went through them. In the summer he would only drink about 6 beers a day then he would fill the beer can with Jack Daniels and drink it straight until he passed out.

He hardly ate and obviously wasn't healthy because all he did was drink.

Luckily I have no intentions of becoming an alcoholic. Just a week out of my life(take a few off my life maybe) for a couple thousand dollars, worth it.

well ive had crazy vacations where id be drinking heavily every day for 7 days straight, so it is possible and a case a day isnt even that much. The thing that would be hard for me is that i get bored of beer after 3 or 4 of em, thats it... but its doable just divide it throughout the day as much as possible, like one beer every 30 mins or so and youll be fine. I'd do it.

as ex beer drinker, a case of beer for a average beer drinker is not that much. working from home, i used to start at about noon and stop at about 4 am lol, beer is the easiest to binge on. after about day 5 youll feel like hell though, ive binged for longer than a week before...

mardi gras is 3 week party here, it just started and theres college kids drinking and many parade goers drinking more than a case of beer a day here and it goes on for 3 weeks.

4 years in june with no alcohol.

An alcoholic could definitely pull it off. A regular drinker would probably give it up around day three or four because they'd feel too lousy to carry on.

Easily.

It takes some time to build up the tolerance, but back in the day when I used to drink I could do that easily and then some. Not for a few days. Weeks/months at a time. Not that week ass Bud Light type of shit either. Bud Ice, St Ides, Crazy Horse,... etc.. Same for hard liquor. I could drink a 1/5th a day of Jack and then some.

However, if you do not have or have built up a high tolerance. I think you would have issue. Today, I do not think I could drink more than a couple of beers and be lite off my ass. However, I have not drank in 4+ years, and have no desire to drink any longer.

I would rather be working and making money.

Well, I only have a month and a half to build up the tolerance. This stunt won't occur for a long time yet because i'm currently in a bet where I quit drinking for an entire year. But come November I start again, work on the tolerance and do this keg in a week bet in January.

24 is kind of rough, even with a mild tolerance.
u basically have to continuously drink 1.5 beers / hr for most of the day.

On my last vacation I partied hard for 8 days straight I don't drink beer much but I think I drank more than the equivalent to 24 beers a day.
On day 9-10 I crashed in bed then partied hard for the last 4 days :D

Its pretty easy to do, just a matter of starting as soon as you wake up.

Go get a few bottles of activated charcoal pills. They're the same thing as the much more expensive "Chaser" brand anti-hangover pills.

They really help reduce the possibility of a hangover. I never drink without them.

You should keep a log and create a site about the experience.

Yeah my friends want a lot of video evidence and things like a "confession room" for how I really feel. But I think it's gonna be a let down when I do it a lot easier than they expect.
