    StormFront.org domain confiscated by NetSol

    I disagree with how the media is framing the site out.

    In any case, this is a huge problem when a registrar can just take a domain because ownership of the company doesn't agree with the ideology of the site.

    Most likely this is a publicity stunt by NetSol. They are a total joke and relying on the $35 recurring billing from 20 years ago when they were the only game in town.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- The founder of the internet's oldest white supremacist site said he was trying to get back online Monday after a company revoked its domain name following complaints that it promotes hatred and is linked to dozens of murders.

    Don Black, a former Ku Klux Klan leader who has operated stormfront.org since 1995, said he didn't receive any warning before Network Solutions blocked the use of the stormfront.org name on Friday.

    Stormfront.org had more than 300,000 registered users, Black said, with traffic increasing since a violent white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

                                                      Domains are property and it is grossly illegal and un-American and just really morally wrong to deprive someone (even someone ya don't like) of property without due process because you'd also like to curtail their freedom of speech.

                                                                                      Don't forget that Netsol ultimately control all COM and NET domains, because they look after the zone file for those TLDs (as well as NAME). I hope we never see them arbitrarily delete domains from the zone file.

                                                                                                          DeadEye mentioned the other day that the fake hate nics here are actually the mod, or webmaster, here. It would explain a lot of things if true, for instance, when one gets banned another one pops up to take its place. But that could just be a troll. But if the mod/webmaster is a troll... The juice have never gotten over the idea of the first amendment in the USA. They control offline speech in every single other first world country.
