WTF? Mobile porn is a 3 billion business and nobody talks about it?
And haw do they make this kind of money? I mean, the big tube sites are making just a few millions/year, and they have a lot of traffic,
Large porn pay sites are making just a few millions also
Large cam sites are making 30-50 millions/year
Aff is making maybe 150 millions $
And yet, the mobile porn is making 3 billion+ $ and nobody talks about it...

What some of you don't get it is that mobile porn is everywhere. They have many billing solutions, and, actually, operators are running some of the programs.
Also, unlike web porn, where US is the biggest consumer, in mobile porn countries that you will never think will buy porn are actually spending huge money on porn. It's a global industries that resemble the 1999 internet porn, except the market is actually 100x bigger. There are more mobile phones with internet connection that computers. Mobile phone in something intimate unlike computers. You don't give your mobile phone to others.
And video on mobile isn't a big business because it suck, and because many operators have bandwidth restrictions or the price/mb is huge. Not to mention you can convert any file format to mobile format using free software.
And, remember, before internet porn, phone sex was a huge business, and is still is.
The only question is, who are the big names in mobile and phone porn?

I agree with you about the 3 billion... but double those numbers above. Aff did $244MM the first 3 quarters of '08... (nearly 90% of revenues are coming from Affiliates.)
And the large Cam sites are doing more than $100MM.
