What would have the gun done for you? You shoot and kill a drunk woman who is so wasted she has no idea what she is doing or where she is. You then spend the rest of your life knowing you have killed someone and probably end up a basket case scared far more deeply then someone rattling your door handle.Comment

Yeah, im sorry I wrote you a book. Here's my next one. I agree, alot of stupid fucks have guns. Yes, accidents will likely be more predominant then not, but not in my house. On the danger side, if you mean harm to me then yes, there is danger in it for you. I wouldnt want to live where I live if I were you either, i'm in bum fucked broke town..
You and I do not disagree on alot of your points. Like I said, alot of people should not own guns. Those that do have a responsibility to educate. Thats all i'm saying....

The house is like 90 ft long.. with the Master Bedroom directly in the back... It's a single story built like the old timey shell houses... and nope, didn't hear the crash. My dogs have two barks.. the "OMg someone is OUTside the house and looks suspicious bark.."

When I heard that in my sleep.. I instantly knew something was wrong.
I will be putting the two little shih tzus who ran and hid up for adoption.. keeping the one who kept attacking her... and getting a Rottweiler (4 dogs is too many).. Hubby's had rotties before... so we'll be going that route... and possibly a taser gun.
The more I talk to people.. the more I'm finding out the initial responders completely botched their job.. with not doing an accident report.. and with only getting her for criminal trespass...
I hate to be one of those white trash people that like call the news or whatever... but if the LT doesn't end up tacking on other charges when I call to complain on Monday... I will be going to the media about it. What if I'd have had children? What if there were no bricks.. and my theater room had been a nursery? If she'd have hit my neighbors house.. they'd have killed 1000s of dollars worth of show dogs...

My shih tzus are my life.. had them all since I moved out and went to college... I could NEVER give them up.. but in the heat of the moment, a Rottweiler sounds like a better choice..
And almost every person I've talked to today about this.. admits to not locking the door from the house to the garage..

i felt sorry for you up until you said u'd get rid of 2 of your dogs.. because they didnt attack at the person who broke into your house through an unlocked door.. so if you arent gonna do then fine but thats not fair that u punish them for your mistake.. where i grew up we never had to lock the door but we were still taught too.. and always have an alarm system.. a 10$ door alarm would have scared her off and you wouldnt have been so freaked out.
