problem of all review sites is the same. everytime there is new program, review sites put all sites from program to the system in one day, so you can see almost shitty old sites on homepage ... and if i see the top ten its the same with rabbits also ... but you guys are still most on time so wish you best with your site!

Wrong. They send traffic to all the sites that they review. They just post on the forums the top 10 sites of that month. It is pretty shitty of you to assume that they would only send traffic to sites that they make the most money off of. Yes still bitching, 99% of traffic from review site goes to the few sites they give top scores to and place on the first pages. They expect ALL sites that they review to send traffic to them.

The criteria they choose gives points to the amount of content over quality and originality. As I point out the shopping channel would win over "The Godfather".

I don't know if they have any expertise on reviewing sites but they are businesmen, I don't know why that is shitty to say.

In newspapers the independant song or film gets the same chance of a good review and space as the hollywood blockbuster. It is a shame here that review sites don't give the same chance to the more creative independant sites.

Well, Jane pays 50% on an $18 membership. I'm pretty sure out of the 120+ sites we looked at in January, we could have found a few that pay more.

Then make the scoring criteria "how much ass has the webmaster left" !

Instead we have this scoring of content / navigation / other score / which is just complety nonsensical allowing the review site to give whatever score they want.

If a site is hot and good value for money what more is there to be said ?

If they charge a one off fee? Why are they penilised for less updates?

I assumed that this was just to get the traffic to the better paying programs. If not it is plain stupid.

Review sites could be a great source of strength in the industry supporting the creative and original, giving the punter confidence to part with his money, pointing him to new delights.

Sadly most review sites seem content to send their traffic to the same old 20 sites...and seem to rig the criteria to do it.
