Im sorry. Im not a fan of Jon, but to say that editing is crap is bullshit. Every video I looked at was very well done, and above the standard of the average paysite trailer. Im all for giving opinions, but if you are lying just to make someone look bad keep it to yourself. Yes the guy has screwed up plenty, but I get fucking tired of when people post some work, be it a trailer, or shoots of a girl etc, and people say shit like "What a fuckin ugly model" just cause they don't like the poster. Donny Long falls in as an example. He would post some nice looking girls, and people would call them skanks and ugly just cause he shot them.

Jon that work is very good, and that is coming from a fellow editor. Its not Hollywood quality, but its good solid work, that I think would convert well on a tour. Gfy is turning into a toolbox full of tools lately.

I don't want to hijack this thread but all the content for that Lela Star trailer was shot by my crew and I for CaptureGirls (including the behind the scenes footage). If any of you are interested in beautiful high-end HD video like this, hit me up or join my mailing list at CaptureGirls.com!

Back to this thread....I've known these guys for a while - they've done editing for several of my clients and their work always looks amazing. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a better than average trailer or scene edited.

Whats funny is, those trailers for TheRealMe are the same ones that were posted a while back and people went gaga when they were posted, now when Jon posts them people call them crap. I shoot from the hip, and if I don't like someones work I usually just don't say anything, or try to be constructive. Ill never say work is crap if it isn't regardless of who did the work if its good. I knew the Lela Star stuff was yours Dean due to the slight diffuse glow effect hehe.

Hey if you get a few mins today I wouldn't mind chatting on icq, buying some new Camera stuff in the next week or so. Still cameras, and wouldn't mind your advice, some new lighting too.

Yeah for sure.. Thanks man... I knew with my come back I had to stay away from design.. Dealing in the "affordable" market was too much of a headache and coming back with a high end design service had no interest to me.. At least in adult.. I have a mainstream design service in the works though..

The hi-r.com domain belonged to the chris mac fake nic, you know the one jon clark said was a real person that molested his wife's kids or some shit and is supposedly in jail. Just do a search for Chris Mac and you will see threads where he started spamming this domain and video editing service. Clearly a jon clark fake nic.

The guy that did the video editing for therealme posts on this board. jon clark did not hire him. He offered to get him work and made yet another fake company to outsource the work to him. That means that if you use jon clark you will have to pay whatever he is marking the service up for, and then have to deal with jon clark instead of the guy that is actually doing the work. Just do a search for the owner of therealme I think his name is tical and you will see the guy who did his trailer work he lists that he did trailer work for mthem in his sig. Go though him directly, skip jon clark and you get a cheaper rate and you don't have to deal with that loser.

The video editor worked directly for therealme.com, and not your company at the time.

yes hes your current video editor, but jason (tical) hired him directly, so they shouldnt be in your portfolio.

yes hes your current video editor, but jason (tical) hired him directly, so they shouldnt be in your portfolio.

If he has employees that are on going members of the team then I don't see the issue with using prior work to show in their portfolio.

I wouldn't call the person doing the work an employee. I'd say John is more of a middleman/reseller.

And in this case it seems pretty easy and the smart move to cut out the middleman. Simple as that really.

Ya I don't mean for anyone to think Im sticking up for Jon one way or another, my thing was that the work on there was being made fun of when it 100% should not of been. Since I am an editor too Im not going to bash what he is doing as its in bad business taste, so all the particulars about his past etc don't concern me really. Just calling a spade a spade as it should of been.

Very nice Job. The trailers look good.

Specially the ones you did for Stunners and the Real Me are great.

The wedding trailers lare also nice. But if I were you, I would probably put them on a different section.

I don't see a problem with it... The guy may have made the video while not with Jon, but it's still HIS work, and it's being put in a portfolio by Jon to showcase his EMPLOYEES work.

The videos are good. But as someone mentioned, you can simply go through the actual source and get a better rate.

Also don't forget that one of the last people to do business with Jon got called a terrorist on the board and not paid. Just a note to those looking to get involved with someone like that.
