Overall the article isn't all that negative. Even mentions that Obama has admitted to smoking marijuana before. Seems the only person not willing to let the incident go away is this stupid sheriff.

I only voted for Obama because I know that he is going to try. I watched all the vids and read his quotes regarding decrim cannabis and he definitely will have to do something in this modern time, money is too tight to spend billions putting people who smoke a joint at night in jail.

A much needed boost to the economy from hemp production and the money saved by not arresting/jailing pot smokers may be enough for the general public to look over an incident like that if one was to occur, but Fletch is right. Way more people die from drunk driving.

decrim may not be "legalization" but having lived in California where you can puff puff in public and never risk going to jail, it only makes sense the rest of this nation MUST FOLLOW the west.

decrim means cops cannot arrest you, its no longer a crime, so while it may not be for sale at the drug store, cannabis can be used by people without fear or arrest.

it feels great (no pun intended)

i mean standing outside looking at the sky and smoking a fat Bubbleberry blunt and knowing a cop cannot arrest you.
