Yes, site and company are dead. From what I saw, it's never coming back. Not the owner, but I used to work at DMRC.

From what we were told, something happened to one of the investors of the company. Apparently he/she was out of the country and got into some huge trouble (the nature of which I'm not aware), but the owners were sent an e-mail from another investor which essentially said that with the loss of one of them, the remaining investors were no longer going to put funds into the business. We were a small team of 7 people and just like that everyone was laid off and the office was shut down.

We were working on a new site. The owners apparently paid over $500,000 for the creation of original uncensored content and the most recent batch of 20+ were all shot in 4k UHD. The site was supposed to be 4k and shot in quality equal to that of what you'd find on tushy/blacked/vixen.com. All scenes were bareback, most were creampie, some had anal, and we were in the middle of subtitling them. We were set to release in just a few more weeks but then we all got laid off. I still talk to one of the owners and last I was told they're trying to sell the content they made and just sitting on it until they can get buyers.

Were your investors paying a fair price for the content that was shown on 41Ticket? Most of it looks like older Dreamroom content that could be licensed relatively inexpensively (http://gfy.com/gfy-content-market/12...-included.html). If they were paying more than $150 or so per scene, then they were getting ripped off. I'm sure what you were doing with 41Ticket (sans the exclusive content shooting) could be replicated rather easily if you wish to re-enter the industry with a follow-up site.

We purchased a lot of non-exclusive Dreamroom content at first for cheap just to have updates for the website multiple times a week while we were shooting the exclusive stuff. The plan was to then update with exclusive weekly once there was a large enough stock of it, since the situation with uncensored content was shaky and there would be times where we'd have to wait a few weeks before we could get another shoot put together.

We made around 75 original movies, most in 1080p and around 22 in 4k. These were some of the exclusive scenes we made:
