Not saying he is a bad guy but a good con artist will always make people believe he's there for the long run.
When I was in construction (many moons ago) we got fucked over by one dude for sexeral xxx,xxx.xx$$ and I can honestly say non of us saw it coming. The guy had money a nice car and got us several really good deal before he hooked us like a big fish and then dissapeared with the money.
I asked around about him as I sa an old aquaintance a few months ago and he's now resting with the rest of the dead crooks... somewhere in limbo i guess.Comment

I can say Chio is a good honest guy. I myself am waiting for payments for a very long time. I do know he was having some extreme personal issues that were causing some strain on the company's functions. I would however like to know if anyone has heard from him? I have have not had any contact since the 8th.Comment

Ask that assface Shoehorn. From what I have searched (you should too), they know each other well. Pretty tight. Wouldn't surprise me they were one in the same. Apparently from what I have read he is located somewhere in the Keys of FL. Wether or not that is true, who knows.

Get your facts strait bro. I've met Shoehorn face to face, and his voice is nothing like Chio's. I guarantee you they are not one in the same.
I don't know him as well as Fuzebox, Shoehorn or Marketsmart. But I know him well enough to know when something is wrong. He's not trying to rip anyone off, I will however say he is having serious personal issues. I won't go into details, but it's major. Yet still I'm rather pissed about no payments.Comment

Sad to hear. If that is truly the case I wish him the best. I'll try contact him best I can regarding the money owed. No trying to be negative here, but Chio did claim to be around for a long time and fully understood what adult is all about. I've spoken with him lots and liked him for sure.
His business was in billing.
Billing is the number staple to our industry, it's what we all live by, any issue with billing can cause huge trauma and shut down a company rather quickly.
I fully understand he has personal issues, ones that appear to be pretty intense from what I have read and heard.
Given that I wish him the best, BUT
When you are going to make your business model billing, something where people depend on you for their everything, to feed their families, grow their business, pay the bills, pay webmasters and everything else, you cannot have that billing business built around you. That is just wrong on so many levels and a very ignorant thing to do to the people you are doing business with.
If you get sick have family issues you need to have the business be able to keep going in your absence, people should not have to wait and or lose their business based on your not having your shit in order enough to make sure they are taken care of no matter what.

As much as I liked Chio and respected him based on the fact that everyone was calling him a great guy (and not in a bro' ish way) it was obvious from the start already that his project was overhyped and will never be a threat to Epassporte like he wanted... for several reasons.
He's been talking about it for years, launched over a year ago, advertised as an epassporte alternative but I haven't heard about it at all during all this time, not counting this thread today.
Considering how overhyped it was, someone could post an "epic fail" pic.

I don't know Chio personally or have anything against him (although I did purchase AutoBlogger software). To tell you the truth based on his past business ventures he's the type of person that loses interest quickly in his business ventures and doesn't stick by them long enough to make them succeed. It seems to me he's the type of person to be gunhoe and hype a project in the beginning but then always drops the ball.
Examples: autoblogger software, blingo or whatever service that was for blogs he started, and like I predicted too myself when he first hyped his payment system VerfiedCharge. all hyped services in the beginning and very short shelf-life.
I'd never trust any of my hard-earned money with any projects/ventures lead by Chio. Sorry Chio, but this is just how I see things. No hard feelings.
Hope you get your money! But if I were you I'd change payment processors.
