I have old middle school bf's & weird stalker types who I barely spoke to in high school hit me up on facebook.

I've had the exact same thing happen on Classmates, MySpace, and Facebook.

Although, most of my old high school people find, or get a hold of me, through MySpace more than the other two.

You should check out the anti-stalker application for facebook, it shows you who checked out your page. Facebook might have disabled it.

With facebook you think only your friends can see your page, but their friends who see their pages...i believe can also see messages that are posted.

It is amazing how popular facebook is but I think it sucks, you really are locked in to just your friends. The new technology has slowed the whole website.

I think the future will be something more like a social network with skype...when if there online you can chat or speak to them online. Also facebook is the worst for dating if this is what your looking for.

I need to move on from facebook...when my niece who is 15 years old and my uncle who is 65 years old is on there...somethings wrong. My wife loves it, but she does not even know who here friends are.

Yes depending on the person's settings. If they comment on something or post on someone's wall it will show in their Mini-Feed and their friends can view it.

But this does not include Private Messages and it depends on the person's privacy settings.

Again what are you talking about?! If someone is ONLINE on facebook you can chat with them. And it's not MEANT for dating but can easily be used to approach girls you may not get the chance to approach in person.

Have you ever used Skype? Using Skype is a lot less convenient and has lot less features then Facebook. Skype will never take over Facebook.
