My prediction on "Mobile Porn"

When it comes to mobile porn, I'm not going to worry about encoding my videos for mobile devices....I expect mobile devices to encode their hardware so that they can play any existing videos on the internet, leaving me to do no work.....

I got a call on my voicemail the other day from some dude who was talking about hooking up with one of my girls that he had on his phone....Those pictures must have come from a FHG that I shot a LONG time before people were even thinking of porn on mobile devices....

I didn't encode the shit any differently...However, he's still looking at my stuff on his mobile device.....

I also believe that the internet will merge with television, making it so that I don't have to do any extra work to deliver my content to televisions across the world...

75% of vids i have tried on my storm work with 0 conversion i just copy them over.

In the future most video formats will just be supported by the phones.

I'm in beta with a mobile company that can encode videos on the fly and stream to ANY phone that supports java, this content can also be seen on PDA/Smart phones as well like Blackberry 8830 and Palm, which is rare.
I can shoot video with my Blackberry bold, upload it on a tube site they have developed and have the video live and tagged within minutes and ready for viewing. They also suport live streaming and have a two way mobile streaming client developed, mobile to mobile live sex ;). I saw a demo of the live cam being controlled by the phone, panning left and right + zoom.

i thought mobile porn was a joke, because honestly the screen is so small and the only reason to have it is if you have some problem were you need to shake hands with the sheriff while at work our out to eat with your parents

however, my brothers friends LOVE having porn on their phone. i asked a few of them what the deal was and why the needed to have it and most of them just said they like the idea of having it on their phone and to show off to friends. i guess once one has it and shows it off, others want to as well so they dont look like losers

I always thought that until I started seeing numbers. It's really pretty nuts. You guys should not knock it until you try it. A couple years ago, I want to say three or four, there were a couple companies trying the mobile angle and it kind of faltered. Now it's coming back with the release of the iPods, iPhones , and just better mobile devices in general and doing very well.

Again, don't knock it until you give it a shot. You will be surprised.

One situation in which mobile porn makes sense: college kids in dorm rooms. I luckily never had roommates that slept in the same room as me when I was in school, but I had plenty of friends that did, and they would complain about not being able to wank to porn in front of their computer. One of 'em went so far as to volunteer to be an RA so he would have a room to himself. If those kids have decent mobile devices, they could always run commando style in the bathroom and just hope no one notices the guy in the next stall is beating his meet.

I think mobile is the next major delivery platform, and that it will also soon be technically (easily/quickly) possible to watch your mobile on a computer and/or a tv screen. And, office rest rooms will be crowded with folks using their phones and hands/pocket-rocket to view porn to relieve stress, and become more focused and productive once they return to their desks/work.

BVF is 100% correct. All the shit on the net already works on my phone. It didn't a few years ago, but the phones are adapting to be able to show it. Glad I didn't go apeshit 3 years ago and start making "Mobile Versions" of all my websites like I was being told I should.

The "mobile porn industry" is no longer seperate. That's what BVF is saying. Just run your website normally and modern cell phones are now outfitted with software to view it WITHOUT doing a damn thing to make it "mobile"

And I think lots of people do watch mobile porn. I've been making sales off of AEBN mobile streams for years now.

The only downside is going to be for older (richer) surfers. I'm in my late 40's and recently had to start using damn reading glasses. For people as they get older, their eyes get a bit weaker and the small screen of the mobile phone won't be an option for them as much as for the younger (poorer) surfer.

Maybe the phones will be able to convert on the fly...but if they are still paying for bandwidth the punter might be annoyed by having to download 500 meg to watch a film that could be 5 mag in size for his little screen.

For the TV and Internet the opposite applies quality will have to increase to DVD standard to be viewed on a good quality TV. As we know there is very little Standard Definition quality on the internet and talk of HD on the internet just a sales ploy.

My guess is that they will soon add a goggle/glasses interface for your mobile devices, like iGoggles or something, so porn delivered via mobile devices will actually get bigger. The screen will no longer be just 2 inches wide, but instead, thanks to the headgear, it will feel like you are watching a super wide screen.

My 2 cents anyway....
