Whether it was good or bad, what was the top 5 events or places in your life you can say you were there where # 1 was the most memorable. Here are mine
1- Ground Zero Sept 13. -
2 days after i was delivering water to the site and taking fireman back to their houses .
Not much to say except I was in tears seeing my home turned into a warzone. I lost one of my hockey team mates Tom ( RIP ) who was working on his day off.
2- June 14th 1994 - New York Rangers win Stanley Cup. - Yes I cried.
3- Last year Superbowl. I saw my GMEN win it all in a great upset
4- Vatican City - Where the eyes of the world have been many times. I drove from Prague to Rome on my way to Torino for the winter Olympics and just felt the need to be there in Vatican City.
5- 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. The japanese were a terrific host and when I arrived from a long flight into Tokyo, there was a gentleman who unfortunately I cant remember his name, but he knew I was out of place and more than went out of his way to help me get to Nagano. I got to sit next to Bif Henderson from Late nite show and behind me was Patrick Roy at the womens gold medal game.
These are mine. I guess you all know i live for sporting events. Im sure there are muchj more memorable events people have attended. Lets hear them.
