I love this idea that if you don't agree with Israeli policy or even the existence of the Israeli state, you're somehow anti-semetic. There are a lot of ethnic groups and religious groups with no nation of their own.

You know what the difference is between those ethnic groups and the Israeli Jews? They weren't transplanted into their locations. They were born there because their fathers were born there, and their fathers before them.

Then again, you couldn't exactly expect them to stay on in the communities that more often than not handed them over to the Nazis and acted as informers against them. And at the same time, Muslims have a lot to answer for in the way they reacted to the creation of the state of Israel. Both sides have valid arguements. The Basque are neat. I've eaten in a Basque restaurant - it's strange. You walk in and there is one item on the menu, which is whatever they are serving that night. You don't sit at your own table, but sit at these large tables where you end up sitting next to strangers.
They are located in Spain and France. They have their own culture. Does that mean they must have their own land? Should France and Spain just cough up land to them? What about people who live in Basque dominated areas? Should France and Spain move them? Should they stay there and suddenly loose their citizenship to France or Spain?
What about the Amish? Hell, they seem to have their own laws and yet still reside in many regions in the United States. Isn't it possible to exist peacefully? The Amish seem to be fine living in the US.Herschel Savage
