    Does not sound like Obama was involved at all, just spills over from Bush.

            Oh don't get me wrong - Iraq was 100% the wrong thing to do and was a manufactured war, and "terrorists" there are probably mostly fitting under your definition - militants born out of vengeance over being attacked. I also realize that the U.S. did CREATE the mess in Afghanistan to help them stave off Russia, and the situation we left there probably gave birth to a ton more terrorists. The only problem is that it doesn't change the fact that NOW those people are plotting against us.

            Just like Obama can't just call an end to the Iraq stuff in an instant (gee, you don't think the people we're fighting would take advantage of the situation if we did, would they? I just don't see them instead going 'whew, the Americans are out now - let's go sit down and play video games!'), he can't call an end to any other military operations currently going on either. Phase it all out over some time, sure, but not an immediate end to all of it. He's never said he would do that, and this stuff shouldn't be unexpected to anyone. Look at the Guantanamo Bay stuff - his actions, which are probably about the most immediate he can take, are to agree to get it closed down in a year's time. Does that mean he's condoning it for a year in the meantime?

                    He's not really doing anything about Guantanamo Bay right now. Trying to appease the masses for now. It's not very hard to figure out how to load them up on planes and give them a fair trial. Besides while I would imagine the are a few bad apples in the Guantanamo Bay bunch most are likely either "protect their family" fighters or were turned in by other people so they could get paid for doing so. That's one that you don;t hear much in the MSM. Yeah they were paying people to turn people in. So if you didn;t like someone you run over to the nearest man in green with green and say "Hey that guy is a terrorist."

It's no surprise if you've been watching the news, and its about time we have a prez who tells other countrys to fuck off instead of telling the american people to fuck off.......

                                            Well regarding Iraq, whole different theater.

                                            Lets not forget Iraq and Iran were at wars for years on end.
                                            When America went into Iraq Iran meddled, funded, trained and took as much advantage as it could for influence within Iraq by murdering and funding the murder of Sunni's.

                                            THere were literal massacre's taking place and it was not at the hands of American bullet's. Shia were killing Sunni's like it was open season at a fish farm using dynamite.

                                            So the protracted war was not just the Issue of Saddams forces, which rolled right over it was the aftermath that Iran wanted to take advantage of.

                                            And to a degree Iran succeeded in insuring Shia rule within the Iraqi government.

                                            WHich leads to the Kurds, Sunni's and Shia all in a state of near civil war.
                                            When America pulls out it will be a blood bath which is why it must be done right to insure the typical Iraqi Civilian has a future.

                                                            But what really got me was the thought that the United States has no problem launching a missile into another country to kill other people.

                                                                            pakistan has had plenty of knowledge of the policy. it's not like we're launching missles into the sky and wondering where they will land. both ours and pakistans government know fully well what is going on.
