I already called them when my sites went down today... I don't feel like calling back over a small issue. Think they will respond to a support ticket?
Does Webair respond to support tickets on the weekend?

Last night I sent a support ticket asking if they could upgrade their software to meet the minimum system requirements for Magento. Today I'm updating sites when they go down. I call and after about 5 minutes they come back and say "yea we planned that, they will be back up in a few". Then I call back around 11pm tonight and tell them I really need to know about magento... They tell me to send an email and they give me an address. They say I will get an answer in 1 hour. I call back just now (3 hours later) and they say they can't do it. Then he tells me someone replied to my support ticket about 45 minutes after I sent it last night. He says it was sent to my email addy they sent my invoices to. I always get my invoices, I did not get that email and I do not have a spam filter. Thats fucking amazing.
I wasn't totally surprised they wouldnt upgrade php, mysql, and install 4 extensions for me. I was surprised at how god damn long it took to get that fucking answer. The bullshit imaginary email pissed me off too.Comment

Their support on the weekends is no different than their support during the week.
shitty and practically non-existent
24/7/365 their support is the same
unacceptable

Good to know. Do you know any host that meets Magento's requirements? If they didn't suck that would be cool too.Comment

A lot of the additional extensions are really not standard . For safety reasons, most host will try to keep at a minimum the extensions installed, and stick with the common required ones.
You could always go with a low-end dedicated

Just a heads up. Read the Magento *upgrades* forum... yeah, Magento is far from primetime unless you have a full dev team.
Don't get me wrong, it has great potential... but there are a lot of show stoppers.Sig too big!Comment
