    So once again Republicans are more interested in leaks than Russian interference in the election

    So I'm watching the Senate hearing on the Russian ties to our election.. Big surprise the Russian traitors in the senate (oh I mean Republicans) are more worried about leaks to the news media than any involvement from Russian in the election..

    These guys need to all be hung for treason.. They don't represent our country, but rather only their corrupt party. They'd just assume sell us out to foreign powers as long as their party can be in control.

          Yeah, I expected Republicans in the Senate to be a bit more interested in protecting the security of our country. The Senate Republicans are usually not crazed lunatics like the ones in the House. The Senate is usually a bit more moderate and "responsible", with only a few far right goons..

          I guess it's no longer the case, all Republicans are shit and the good of the country is 4th in line to what is good for them, their party and their corporate owners..

                      I have the city inspector at my house today so I am sort of just waiting for him to need something so I am watching this and it's stunning. It's just fucking stunning.

                      From what little I've watched they've said Flynn lied about his contacts with the Russian government, the Russians knew he lied, which means if he wasn't comprised already by the Russians directly he could be at any time. Flynn, a top level adviser to the President, lied about his contacts with Russia, covered everything up, and the Russians knew this.

                      But hey, let's talk about what's important here.... How the truth came out.

                      Don't get me wrong... Leaking classified information is very wrong and very illegal. However, comparing the leaking of classified information to treason at the highest level of the White House is comparing murder to jay walking. Leaking classified information might not result in jail time, while the other might lead to death by firing sqaud.

                      We have proof Russia hacked the DNC (and RNC). We know they influenced our election. We know Trump has direct financial ties to Russia. We know a large percentage of Trump's campaign / administration had direct contact with Russia. We can plainly see a cover up is taking place.

                          Sure the leaks are important to solve, but they in no fucking way compare to the security risk of a foreign nation trying to compromise our election process.

                          The questions being asked are night and day difference between what Republicans are asking vs what Democrats are asking. It's a fucking disgrace to the citizens of this country.
