The name KKK is used by many splinter groups, the local chapter where i am is called BAYOU KNIGHTS OF KKK

The White Knights are also a local chapter of KKK, people act as if the KKK doesnt exist anymore, when you live among them, THEN come tell me... they dont exist. They put up signs, stickers, and all kinds of shit.

yeah, the KKK is gone, and the ones left are GOOD GUYS! They dont hurt anyone or do any terrorist activity behind closed doors...

here is local story, woman came from Oklahoma (Nov 2008) to join the Klan down here in Louisiana Swamps,... they killed her for backing out of the initiation.

I will say it again (i posted this before) - If the KKK kills initiates for backing out, do you REALLY THINK THESE PEOPLE DONT do *other* nefarious things behind the shadows?

A woman who tried to flee a Ku Klux Klan initiation rite was shot to death by the group's leader in a remote campsite on a sandbar in the swamps of Louisiana, officials told local media.

The woman had found the Sons of Dixie group on the Internet and taken a bus down from her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma so she could be initiated into the secretive white supremacist group and then recruit others in Oklahoma.

this is local news, when they start finding bodies of people killed by the KKK in your area, come tell me they dont exist anymore.

Again, as someone who lives in this area, I can assure you they do more than just graffitti. lol

so lets see... "kooks" are recruiting people across state lines, using the internet to recruit, renting property instead of owning, holding initiations in very secluded areas you can only reach by boat, and have committed murder. yeah, nothing goin on here....

Look, if the guys son didnt go asking how to get "blood" out of his clothes at a store, they wouldve not even found her body for years lol

sure they exist but as i said perhaps its better to let them group themselves instead of hiding their hatred right.

Sorry but white supremacists dont really seem like the smartest bunch really, i dont see them being so smart that only a small portion of their crimes are recorded, stats still say they are less dangerous than a spoon.

Should we encourage these groups ? certainly not, but i dont see a problem with any group wanting to be a group, especially if the group commits illegal acts, just makes them easier to catch.

p.s. i dont think the strain dude mentioned they were peacefull he just said they werent a threat and no violence or crimes had been attributed to them other than graffitti

i believe you, i believe they exist just like im sure there are black panthers that ride around with guns and talk about offin honkeys, just not sure they (kkk) are very dangerous compared to many other things. I live in the south , i know what it is like, i'm from texas. I have also lived in california , LA and d.c. I know i would rather be a black man walking through the south than a white man going through the ghetto in L.A. ( although granted i am white so i might just think that )

we have similar experience, and I agree. a black man walking around here is way more safe than my white ass walking through parts of Los Angeles.

I lived in the south until 20, then went to Cali for a decade, so i agree...

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that it's not always black and white. These are very complex issues and both sides in all cases feel as though they have the right to whatever piece of land is being contested.
