    Webmasters: Which Email Program Do You Use?

    I have Windows 7 and I uninstalled the Windows Live Essentials bundle, which had the Windows Live Mail program included with it. However, when I try and re-download the Windows Live Essentials, I'm able to download it from the website but the program will not run on my computer. It just times out and never completes. I do know that the programs in the bundle are no longer supported by Microsoft because I read that on the Microsoft website. But still .....I would imagine that people would still be able to download it and use it. I guess not...I don't know.

    Which email program would you recommend for a webmaster that offers SMTP, POP3 ...and even though I don't mind paying, I might as well go with free because I'm just looking for basic features. Any suggestions ...or any suggestions on downloading that Windows Live email program?

          Gmail. Run all of my pop3 through it. This way I can work from any computer seamlessly. It's common for me to have Gmail up on multiple computers at the same time.

                                          Thunderbird here.

                                          Just make sure you have some sort of regular backup solution in place in case your hard drive ever decides to crash.
