It's like comparing The Who against Zeppelin. Too different and unique, both good in their own way. Stones have a grittier edgier rock sound that I typically prefer. -
Well put. I like them both for entirely different reasons.
It depends on your frame of mind. There are times where the Stones fit the bill, other times it's chill out with The Beatles. Same goes for The Who and Zeppelin. Apples and oranges, but they both taste oh so sweet none the less
