I hate to say it but you have to take some responsibility for allowing her to get that far behind in her payments to you.

The problem with "breaking it down" is that this then turns into a post with people saying that what she did wasn't worth 9K and that she was ripping somebody off. None of that should matter here. If I came on GFY and said that a company owed me $10K for photography and they've decided to rip me off....I should NOT have to post an itemized list of what my charges were for the world to see. All you need to know is that somebody owed me money, they won't pay me and you should think twice before doing business with them. That there is my opinion....

if that did not happen in this situation, then it is what it is. without details, no one knows, and shouldn't be taking any sides. i am not taking any ones side. without details it is impossible to choose a side.
if this in fact about seo, then well, people over promising and underdelivering is nothing uncommon. if i agreed to pay someone a dollar amount for a specific result and it wasn't delivered, guess what, they aren't getting paid. whether that was the deal here is unknown because no one is dropping the specifics, which is why i asked.
there is more to this story than is being let out of the bag here.

If there is more to the story, Sunny would do well to either explain the situation or to give a public statement that negotations/legal proceedings are underway and that she can't currently comment on the situation.
Right now, we simply have a company stating it is owed $9.7k by Sunny, and Sunny apparently being unable or unwilling to give a professional response.
For those of us who actually do business and aren't sucking her metaphorical cock, that looks bad. Especially since she's representing her program, not just herself

Is anybody stopping Sunny from telling her side of the story? What if I came on here and said that A1R3K owed me $10K. What would you do? Would you say "there's another side of the story" and walk away? Or, would you "break it down" so that everyone understood why you didn't pay me my money?
GFY is a good way to get folks to pay you when all else fails - I see it all the time here.
People hire people all the time to do stuff for them and sometimes they don't want to pay for the services and/or goods that they received. Not because they didn't get what they paid for...but because they are having money problems.
It sounds like to me the company has tried to work with Sunny but Sunny isn't interested in working something out. No, I don't know the whole story but based on what I see here, I'm leaning towards believing that Sunny owes these folks some money.Comment
