Nor was I. I'm just saying it's hard to work in environment where people say, "I don't trust you with my photos, but it's ok you can trust me with yours."

If content control, and making sure you have copies is an issue, I just deal with it at the shoot. Ava and Natalie deleted all the photos they didn't like of themselves, and Janessa left with a full set of everything and she can delete from there.

People have to syncronize release schedules, exchange personally identifying information, exchange medical records and so forth. So the bottom line is, if you can't trust the people you are working with, you shouldn't work with them.

But, it's also not worth risking your reputation, image, style or brand for a given shoot, or a single opportunity, so I can understand your position. To each their own, but I'm not entirely comfortable working with people that have those kinds of one sided restraints, so I generally don't do it. I won't be at the convention anyhow, but if you intend to come to our next shoot expect to leave a full set of releases, documentation and a finished, edited copy of all of the sets before you leave if you intend to use only your own photographer.

If everyone looks at the final copy of all the photos before they leave, it greatly cuts down how much you can get done in the time you have, but sometimes it's the only way to make sure everyone leaves happy.

Don't worry this is not because I don't trust you It just that I know my way of working and I usually edit all my pictures myself ;) and I like my photographer's style
