                                                              My best friend breast fed her son until he was almost 3. He'd do the same thing. And if we were in the bedroom changing clothes or getting ready to go somewhere and she took her shirt off, he'd start clapping his hands.

                                                              She had two girls after him and luckily they both stopped on their own, but they were both close to two.

Before formula it was common for children to be breast fed for longer. Your body will stop producing milk when it is no longer needed. There is a pill that will help your breast milk stop producing quicker because it can be quite uncomfortable.
