I think we got things all setup for before the show, the response was strong and quick :-). We're going to avoid overlapping with the show because people have other commitments, some aren't going, others got not money right now and show shooting is always a pain.
That being said, I think I'm going to try show shooting anyways for February during xbiz if that condo will still be available.

Aaliyah couldn't make it, and Trisha had to cancel for extremely legitimate personal reasons, but Janessa, Natalie and Ava are workaholics... at least when work means eating pussy

- Content trades only, no models will be paid.
- Everyone covers their own travel.
- Location yet to be determined. Accomodations and location fee are location dependant on location, right now we're looking at off-season beach houses somewhere on the east coast. Suggestions appreciated. My house was used for these pics, and would be the back-up. (it's free too)
- All necesary Photo and Video equipment will be there.
- Bring your own hard drives, dv tapes, and outfits.

That's a shame. I think you'll miss out on a lot of opportunities to do good work like this. We already gave up on shooting with Spunky and all his girls for the same kind of content restrictions. Nor was I. I'm just saying it's hard to work in environment where people say, "I don't trust you with my photos, but it's ok you can trust me with yours."
If content control, and making sure you have copies is an issue, I just deal with it at the shoot. Ava and Natalie deleted all the photos they didn't like of themselves, and Janessa left with a full set of everything and she can delete from there.
People have to syncronize release schedules, exchange personally identifying information, exchange medical records and so forth. So the bottom line is, if you can't trust the people you are working with, you shouldn't work with them.
But, it's also not worth risking your reputation, image, style or brand for a given shoot, or a single opportunity, so I can understand your position. To each their own, but I'm not entirely comfortable working with people that have those kinds of one sided restraints, so I generally don't do it. I won't be at the convention anyhow, but if you intend to come to our next shoot expect to leave a full set of releases, documentation and a finished, edited copy of all of the sets before you leave if you intend to use only your own photographer.
If everyone looks at the final copy of all the photos before they leave, it greatly cuts down how much you can get done in the time you have, but sometimes it's the only way to make sure everyone leaves happy.Not WorkingComment
