Ok, I'll go ahead and say it now so you know the truth.
The server was hacked thru another clients php script and he admitted it.
The hack sent email and read the entire database and slowed the server.
I didn't want to post that, but this bashing is getting old.

Hi, the issue is not with your sites, the database server on the box is
getting slammed with queries. I've been working to resolve the issue
and I have been making progress. My apologies for all the troubles with
this for the past week.

then they probably are not that good of a programmer to begin with.

In my opinion it is.
When I start a thread about eating pizza and the same poster(s) comes in
and immediately starts bashing my script without even knowing the facts then
it's nothing but a smear campaing.
It would be just their uninformed opinion if they were on topic; but never being
on topic for 3 months and saying the same shit everytime from the same 3-4
php programmers is clear what the motive is.Comment

Ride above it. You'll win more respect from the people that count. People have taken stabs at lots of scripts, but for the most part the owners have ridden above it and the jibes have died away. what does it matter? ask any big tgp or blog owners what successful sites josh has ran and you'll be hard pressed to find an answer from them. If you want to find out about his gfy clout, then ask about him here. I'll personally give you my contacts to all the big site owners, you can feel free to ask them what they know about him and it will be crickets. just remember, all the shit he talks can be spent building successful websites he's had 7 years opportunity to but never has.. that says a lot right there. If he wants to prove me wrong he hasn't done so in the few odd years he's actually been in the business longer than me and i'm still waiting for him to do so.

dean capture has way more respect than you in this industry, he's made a name for himself in a good way. I don't see you doing that. Content guys, photographers, webmasters, paysite owners, designers, they all have respect in this industry through hard work... you have yet to do any of that because of the blinding amount of 50/50 chance that if someone mentions your name they will either have a bad story to tell or are on the fence. If that's good to you, then feel free to live with the bare minimum. Refer to my post and you'll see why it's hard for many people to take you seriously. Maybe you wouldn't look so bad if you didn't rag on a script you never even
tried to install, much less ever use.
Especially when the only problem turned out to be that I tried it on a shitty server that
got hacked thru a shitty php script owned by someone else and then a genius
server tech thought it just had to be me since I had the most traffic.

I'm not tagging on your script and I know not of a 3month smear campaign. All I know of you and your script is it was one of the first to come out and then you made a thread bitching about pharaervers I think and they stepped in saying your script was causing massive server load for a shared server and u took flack on gfy for being on a shared host.
Can't be assed to find the thread as surfing gfy on an iPhone is bad enough....

Their information was wrong and I already proved it and there was no reason
for you to jump on the bandwagon except that you were trying to sell a tube script
yourself. I jumped the gun with that post and should have waited until I had all
the information I have now. Hey, I took the host's word for it.
Then I investigated it. I should have waited on making that post.
You are not jealous, but you come off that way 100%.
I mean, you never tried the script and you are trying to sell yours and that makes
you look like you're desparate or jealous or both. Beefing with someone with a
similar product is always going to look that way.
The guy who sold the most tube scripts(at least by his account) happens to be
the only one that never ever tried to trash my script.
That's not hard to figure out because people are going to be suspicious of one
competitor constantly bashing another even if it's true.
I would like to move on to other things because these threads are becomming pointless.
So good luck on your programming and that's what we both need to be focusing on.Comment
