If it does happen I have no problem focusing on paysites again.

We still do ok with ours but not like a few years ago. most of our traffic now is inhouse and I dont see the point on building more sites or content since there is so much out there free now.

One of the major problems to me is just the overall attitude of people. If you make a thread about how Tube sites are giving away too much content half the people that respond will simply say, "adapt or die."

That adaption, to many, means giving away even more free stuff. It is like an arms race and we are working to see who can give away the most. Eventually I think it will cave in on itself and there will be a natural cutback. Hardcore will never go away and there will always be plenty of it out there for free, but I think some of it will start to fall off as people "adapt" and find better ways of making money than just seeing how much they can give away.

All that said there will never be any kind of guidelines or group that helps control the amount of hardcore porn available. Look at the 2257 stuff as an example. The only group that really stands up for this industry is the FSC, but when they ask people to join and spend $50 a year to help protect their industry they get hammered by people who do nothing but slam them. (I'm not slurping the FSC, just using them as an example because I think they do good work)

Asking webmasters to organize is like herding cats. Just not going to happen.

As long as program owners keep giving away everything away for free to every beer money baron, and so called 'webmaster' you are going to have this issue.

sponsors could just not accept that traffic.. if they are getting traffic from tube sites.. or if your traffic has horrible ratios.. you get canned.. if sponsors notice traffic coming from ppl giving away too much.. than they can simple warn you or ditch you.

When we started talking about our site we wanted it to be streaming only - didn't want members allowed to download anything.

But, every pay site we looked at u could download until your dick fell off and these tube sites offered endless free shit so we concluded that only streaming would get us too many chargebacks.

Seeing that we have basically zero vid content at the moment and no members yet - although we are getting some traffic - we are proud to announce that we haven't had one single chargeback.
