what are they blowing up?

i wish they would expand the 15 in some sections, it gets slow at some points when I was making that trip

I wanted to start a Party Train from LA to Vegas, One flat fee of 250 bucks per person, you can start partying as soon as you get on the train. It would be able to make one stop somewhere. It was going to be called the Vegas Express Party Train. This was 10 years ago when I had the idea, but seemed like a little bit of too much work.

That is why they are blowing stuff up . . . to widen the highway. Are you old enough to remember when it was only 2 lanes all the way between Vegas and past Victorville?

Fuck!!!!!!!! I was planning on heading to AVN on Wednesday the 7th, ironically we had plans to leave LA at 10am to get there by the 2pm check-in on our rental house. Good looking out baddog. I guess I'll have to figure something out (Probably leave later). This sucks.... bigtime!

Now that I think about it... I'll be good since it's only closed from 10-11am going into Vegas. The thing that sucks is that it means that the 1 hour closing will still probably cause a backlog of traffic heading into Vegas. Dammit!

Well, even without the blasting it took me 8 hours to get to Vegas on Saturday. I made it as far as stateline coming home and decided to hole up at Whiskey Pete's for about 10 hours before making the mad dash home.

If you travel between LA and Vegas
and drive, be advised. They are blowing shit up for 4 hours every Wednesday between 10A-2P until April. You do not want to drive home from Vegas on a Wednesday.

That means if you are coming to Internext from LA, you do not want to leave on Weds if driving.

This weekend was bad enough, but to intentionally close the S/B lanes for 4 hours is going to be pure insanity.

What time did you drive?
I left LA at 8pm and was home in Vegas by 12am..and that was with a 30 min delay in Primm.
