    Trump finally does something I can agree with & support..

    Trump signs budget for NASA which includes money to keep working toward sending humans to Mars by the 2030's or "other" places.. like the possibility of a habitat on the moon for example.. (IMO we should build a moonbase before going to Mars)

    SpaceX will likely get there 1st but it's good NASA is able to keep their projects going and not have them cut..

      Trump can put the first man on the moon, this is what US needs, a real business person in charge who actually gets things done instead of faking stuff

              SpaceX will get there 1st it's just about keeping NASA on goal. Trump didn't come up with the plans for NASA to go to Mars, they have been working on it for years. Trump just authorized their budget and didn't cut the programs which many were worried about..

              Republicans in Congress were holding this budget hostage under Obama, but of course soon as a Republican is POTUS they are now ok with it..

                  Don't worry. literally Hitler doesn't have much of anything to do with Mars other than approving the budget request.. I'm just approving of him approving the budget and not cutting it like it was feared he would do. Try not to overthink things.. Unlike most of the right wingbats here on GFY, I can separate good & bad things our leaders do.. If the ones I don't agree with do good I have no issue saying so..

                                          I also saw this and thought it was the one good thing Trump has done. We need to get our space program back on track. The technology that comes out of space program is insane and benefits all of mankind. Everything we have today - computers, cell phones - all comes directly from our space program.

                                          I guess eventually Trump had to do something right.
