Starware Publishing. hmmmmm, Goosebump, rings a bell but can't place it. After the lawsuits put Starware into bankruptcy I did a stint with New Machine after they sold to Mission Control, before starting my own distribution and content licensing. Sold everything out in 2000 and went mainstream. Just jumped back into adult again in 2007.
Who were the first TEN people in adult internet business?

Lee's a great person - that's how we met in like 93-95 or so - sold tons of her busty babe series - very popular. [/QUOTE]
if you used zmaster.com back around 1997 where it went from this crappy looking site for buying her CDrom content to a snazzier design with an online catalog and shopping cart, that was me "dj", behind the scenes with the db and programming and my graphics partner.

AMEN Brotha!
But I'm gonna give this a shot...thinking back to the very first ia2000 (has sense evolved into Internext)...when we porn peddlers took over the convention from the stuffed audio-text suits (no offenece boys! but you that's how it was)...here's who comes to mind:
- DMR (the 1st online adult processing company)
- PK
- Botto's
- Dumas
- Gould
- Lobster Boy (Brad)
- Steve Cohen
- Serge & Levy...whose attacks on one another will go down in infamy far as I'm concerned back in original ynot days!
- Rick Mung (originator of YNot - the first and only adult webmaster board who wasn't even old enough at the time to attend HIS OWN PARTY the opening night of an ia2000 show).
- Lee Noga
- The Blatts (KB and D$)
- Jonathan (J$tyles)
- Danni
- Patrick (TheHun)
- M. Fold
- Carol Cox
- Sweet T & Bill
- Bruce B (and Ken L)
- - - and many more who all are still around, but continue to lay low.
I'll be at AEE and Internext - hope to see all the old faces and meet the new ones in Vegas this Jan.Adult Business Consultant since 1995

Who knew Nick had such a poetic streak? I always thought Anthony was his ghost writer ;)Pornesis Chpt1 Verse 1
In the beggining there was Ron , but he was without shape and void.
He did see Al Hadzy and in General he saw that it was good. And Ron was fantasyman and fantasyman was Ron.
And yea there did come out of the east , a man threatening to insert broomsticks in asses and Ron did look upon him and called him Serge.
And verily they did piss.
And the piss begat Scottpb and scott begat.............

And yea...mmmm yea...sweet sweet yea....lines and lines of it , and piles and piles of it....but I digress...

Like everyone else, I had Lace content too - but all I think of when I think him now is that infamous booth at the show in 2002 or whenever that was

That may have been your first IA2000 but it wasn't the first one
The first one was at least 3 years prior (maybe more). I know there was one when I was in audio-text 1993-95 - there were "internet" folks around even then because when they first started charging for sites they were charging them through the PPC numbers (back in the days when you told your dialer what number to dial). It was interesting to watch the PPC guys get pushed further and further on the showroom. IIRC there are still a couple who still have tables in the back.
BTW, there are still a LOT of the "stuffed audio-text suits" that are still around in the internet, moving a shitload of traffic but not bothering to post on boards
I hear from one or two a couple of times a year and I'm always amazed they're still around, lol. But they are! And of course, there are even more who have long since retired and are living the good life.
I THINK Jonathon's board was before YNOT but it could have been I found Jonathon's first. Which brings up BCUZ
Good to see you 'round

not a ton of booths and all but was pretty cool. Fay and Lee were there I belive, FM, some others. I think I was watching adult check guy dropping 5-10k per bj hand
good times....ICQ: 52344098

Hi There,
well I don't remember buying off of zmaster - we bought most cdrom discs directly for resale from her or another distributor..

I was booking models on www.alsscan.com since 1997-98 I think. I met a funny guy named Lensman right after that. I was shooting content for Ken Marcus, Ron vogel, Earl Miller, Suze randal and David Lace. A a guy named Norm Bently started a company called Matrix Content that I fed with Models right before Clive and Larry asked me to find some "Barely Legal" models for thier upcoming video series for a new company called "Hustler Video" good times!!!Last edited by Peter Romero; 12-18-2008, 09:06 PM.Comment
