Look, I have no doubt that there are people who would love such a thing to happen for their own reasons. I'll give you that.
It's not a foregone conclusion that it will come to pass, however, like you seem to think it is. You're playing a big game of "what if" and it's ridiculous.
I can comfortably speak for most Canadians when I say "No Thanks" to a North American Union.

And much like most of the people on this board, as soon as it happened I prayed that bush would go to war and destroy the terrorists that did this..

I'll admit that is 100% prediction, based on the fact that it would take something like that to get most canadians on board with this plan for NAU.
It's not fact, and it has no backing..but something is gonna happen if they want to go ahead with this.

The problem with conspiracy theories is that they are meaningless. Take 100 jigsaw puzzles as an example. Scramble the 100 puzzles' pieces, turn them over so they are only shades of gray and then go wild finding two pieces that fit together. Create a section large enough to please your ego and then show it to everyone. It fits! Until you look beyond that--to the other side, so to speak--and discover that what you have is a useless mish-mash.
Conspiracy buffs take any fact, rotate it in any way they choose then plug it into another fact (or conclusion, opinion, supposition, idea, notion or wild-hair-up-the-ass dream) to create some amalgam of mush that has as much relation to Truth as Gummi Bears have to nutrition.
Why do they do this? To feel smarter. To feel smarter than "the unenlightened." To feel smarter because they have "hidden knowledge" or "the secret." How long does an alleged conspiracy have to not occur before it becomes complete nonsense to some of you? The New World Order crap is almost on its 100th birthday.
The North American Union stuff is much older than that. It was passed around in the 1850's as a scare tactic. After 160 years, doesn't it just kind of seem silly to keep proclaiming the NAU is coming? Doesn't it hit a point in time where you just say "shit, this isn't happening".Comment

While I agree with most of what you have said, the part about us evolving into it is sadly WRONG. Humans don't evolve in 400 years they do it in millions, this is NO EVOLUTION it is a habbit formed over a few measly years. This habit can be broken much easier than anything that "evolved" within us.
And as for those who say "oh just sit back have a beer and watch it all happen you can't do anything!" Would you have the same feeling if 5 men broke into your house and wanted to rape your entire family? You know what I think you people probably would, just lie back and "enjoy" taking it in the ass.... because that's what your attitude about this is. Every day of your life you can do SOMETHING. How would they have had an electronic cashless society that they could easily control back in 1915? lol.
