                  by the way, how many of you have been conscious in a dream? I have been about 4 or 5 times in my life that I remember, and I have read somewhere that you can induce that "conscious" state more frequently with some excersises prior to getting asleep

                                                  This is very speculative science and far, far away at best. What they actually did was very primitive, and not like recording complex visual information at all. It's akin to envisioning that faster than light speed interstellar travel would "eventually" (as they say in the article) be possible the day after the Wright Brothers made their first trials at Kitty Hawk.

                                                                      Happened to me last week, it's called lucid dreaming and it only happened to me one other time in my life. Fucking really awesome experience, I remember just basically whatever I imagined just popped into my dream.

                                                                      Seach google for lucid dreaming techniques.
